ABOUT US & HISTORY

Recreation Sports Management Inc. (RSM), the founders of www.esportsdesk.com, was formed in 1997 by athletes and for athletes. Through their own experiences playing and administering recreational softball and hockey leagues, RSM's founders realized the need for a method by which team managers and league administrators could convey important information quickly and easily. It is on this basic principle that esportsdesk.com was launched more than seven years ago. We are dedicated to creating new developments to facilitate the online management of sport organizations throughout the world and promise to keep our free services in tact as they have been since the company's inception in 1997.

Esportsdesk.com has evolved over the years and its online sport administration tools grew to be the best in the industry. To this day these tools remain absolutely unparalleled. RSM is the worldwide leader in the online administration of amateur sport and can take your team, league, tournament or association from registration right through to the championships without ever leaving the web or picking up a pencil.

Harvey Smith, Chief Executive Officer
Harvey Smith, B.Com (McGill, Finance) became involved with RSM in 1998 and is the company's Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for spreading the esportsdesk.com name and turning the company into a profitable organization. His vision is to turn esportsdesk.com into the worldwide host for amateur sports.

Michael Sigal, President
Michael Sigal is responsible for the vast majority of the website administration tools created on esportsdesk that makes us the worldwide leader in the online administration of sport. As one of the founding members, he has seen esportsdesk.com grow from a small, unknown company into one that is responsible for over a million participants in hundreds of thousands of different leagues and teams spanning 6 continents.

Derek Smith, Manager of Custom Website Program
Derek Smith, B.Com (McGill, Information Systems) joined the RSM team in 2000 and works closely with Michael. He is responsible for new league registrations and the custom website program.
